Welcome to Trinity! You are invited here to find the good company, spiritual
guidance and genuine inspiration you need to
enrich your life. We are an open-minded, inclusive and progressive
community, exploring spirituality together in the emerging
Christian way. We welcome people of all ages and all kinds of faith backgrounds. Wherever you may be on life’s
winding path right now, you will find spiritual support and friendship
in our community.
January 22 we begin a series of Sundays that introduce members of our families who are part of another religion. Together we will experience something of their spiritual practise and faith tradition. In today's multi-faith Canada, progressive Christians want to bridge differences with shared experiences and more understanding of how we all pray to the same God.
Interested in exploring other World Religions? Ellie highly recommends the exhibition at the Canadian Museum of Civilization "God(s) A User's Guide", running till September. As well as this beautiful and interactive exhibit, there are films and discussion groups about various religions.
The World Religions scholar who initiated the multi-faith Charter for Compassion with her famous TED Talk, Karen Armstrong has written a step-by-step set of spiritual practices that nurture our ability to live compassionately. This Lent, be part of the group who meet to share a meal and discuss how it changes us, as we read and progress through the steps. 5 Mondays in Lent, February 27- March 26, 6-9 pm
